Religious Education Program Registration - If you are a family new to our church, or your children and youth were not registered last year, you can register your child or youth into our Religious Education Program electronically at, or by printing and completing this paper registration form (PDF, pages 4). Forms are also available on the Religious Education Table, from your child's teacher or from the Director of Family Ministries. If children and youth were registered last year we will send out the information we have on file and ask for confirmation that it is correct. Simply reply by email and let us know if anything has changed or needs to be corrected.

What’s Ahead In Religious Education:

Find a Rock, Hide a Rock

Children in our Picture Book UU and Connections classes recently painted rocks and hid them around the church to brighten someone's day.  If you find one and it makes you smile, take it home!  If you find one and want to make someone else smile, hide it in a different place and pass along the happiness.

Things are happening in R.E.

If you're in Room 5, check out the poster our 2nd-5th graders made about what it takes to be a leader!  Four of the attributes they think are important: listener, principled, perseverance, not power-hungry.

Our Budding Artists

Kudos to our children and youth for the beautiful journal covers they created in February for our Beloved Conversations class.  If you're the lucky recipient of one of these journals, make an inter-generational connection - find the artist and say thank you!

Plan Ahead!

Church potluck with our middle youth class, May 5, 6pm. Break bread with some awesome youth and stay to play Peek - a game that mixes cards, dice, and white elephant prizes.

Past events:

We held a child dedication at both morning services on December 24, Christmas Eve. This beloved and important ritual is for babies, toddlers, and children of all ages who have not yet been dedicated in a UU church. If you would like to participate in our next child dedication in May, please speak with Kathy Smith, Director or Family Ministries, or one of our ministers. “Each night a child is born is a holy night”, and one of the foundations of our church community is our shared dedication to our children.
