This month, the choir will sing on December 8 and 15. On the 8th, the anthem will be Creation Will Be at Peace, a setting of the classic text from Isaiah: “The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them.” On December 15, the anthem will be an arrangement of the carol Bring a Torch, Jeannette, Isabella.

The New Orleans Gay Men’s Chorus will have their holiday concert at UCBR on December 14 at 7:30pm. Get tickets at the door or online at www.nogmc.com.

On December 24, we will again be joined by a string quartet and the choir to celebrate Christmas Eve. The choir will sing an arrangement of the classic carol Silent Night.

On December 29, Ross Hoppe will be back to play piano for the annual Requiem service, created and hosted by the worship guild of UCBR.
