Social Justice and Outreach Council Reports

Blog category:

In the spirit of our principles that call for Justice, equity and compassion in human relations; The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all; as well as the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large, for the next few months the Social Justice Councl will set up a Justice Action table in the Fellowship Hall or the breezeway on Sunday mornings.

The table will be there to hear SJ issues relevant to these principles and for which you would like to increase congregational support. You can also sign-up to receive up-dates. The table will be a place for making us aware of upcoming events that pertain to social justice and our principles that we can place on our calendar. For more information please contact the SJC chairs, Bobby Thompson or Holley Haymaker. You can also friend us on Facebook -UCBR Social Justice Council.
